We are able to offer in house training through our own training centre meaning our training offered can be tailored to suit the needs of the individual.

Care

Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care – offering individuals the opportunity to achieve a portfolio of qualifications including their Maths, English and Functional Skills plus experience working in Care; The Care Certificate – Working in partnership with City and Guilds, Rushcliffe Care offer those who want a more direct route to their Level 2 via our work based Care Certificate Induction. Accredited City and Guilds Health and Social Care qualifications, Levels 2-5. A detailed professional development programme to assist employees through progression including senior responsibility and team leadership.

Sponsorship opportunities for the right candidates in Nursing and Nurse Associate Qualifications in collaboration with De Montfort University. Applications welcome from internal and external candidates onto both schemes. Overseas Nurses Programme

We encourage applications from overseas nurses wishing to achieve their NMC Pin who have completed their ILETS and CBT. Our programme offers support and mentorship through the theory and practical elements of being an overseas nurse working in the UK plus a guaranteed placement for 3 years working for us following OSCE success. Training

A vast number of accredited qualifications available to gain skills and confidence right from your first day. A comprehensive induction, annual mandatory and specialist courses appropriate for your career pathway. In service ‘Train the Trainer’ Qualifications to become a specialist within your role, and help to train and develop others.  We offer the Level 2 City and Guilds Trainer Skills for those wanting to take those initial steps in training and mentoring less experienced staff. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (previously known as PTLLS). Specialisms include:- Moving and Handling, MAPA, First Aid and many more.

Management

Management development pathway undertaking relevant Leadership & Management Level 5 Qualification, gaining knowledge and experience for the role. Team Leading, Mentoring and a range of business and healthcare programmes available. We work with a variety of partnership providers, colleges and universities to find the most appropriate training and development opportunities for the service you are managing.
