My name is Denisa Bahnean and I started working at the old school house November 2023. I have previously worked in other care homes, but I have never found such a lovely environment before. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I set foot in The Old School House for my interview, from the welcoming and caring staff members and the lovely residents, to the person centered decorations and the homely atmosphere. Even though I have not worked here for that, long I have never fit in so quickly with a team and I can confidently say that I will be here for the long run.

My name is Louise Gillard and I have worked at The Old School House since June 2023 working as a domestic.  Before coming to The Old School House, I was a district councilor for NWLDC for 8 years although this was not a full time position. I applied to The Old School House as a domestic and have not looked back since; I have made a special bond with all the residents who do not fail to bring happiness to my days. In a short space of time being here feels like we are one big family.

My name is Rai Robinson I started working at The Old School house in March 2023. I wanted  to be a carer for a long time but never found the right place that stood out to me, until I stumbled upon The Old School House, as soon as I saw the residents and the activities they had and the love that was given to them  I knew it was the place for me. I have my care certificate and I am hoping to achieve my NVQ 2 in 2024.
