Coronation Garden Party “ What a wonderful day. Everywhere looked amazing with all the flags and decorations. Especially liked trigger. You could really see the great connections with the staff and residents. The whole day was a great success and enjoyed by all. ”

Amazing Place “ Had a wonderful afternoon at the coronation fund raising event. We were very impressed with the number of very friendly and clearly dedicated staff that were available to help out on the day. All residents were able to fully and safely participate in many activities. After making our purchases in the raffle and tombola etc we enjoyed snacks and a drink in the Amazing residents cafe, again run by staff or staff volunteers. We were impressed by the many themed room experiences offerred at this place, bar, shop, disco room, cafe, and they are what we saw. Such a happy place. Well done Lesley and your amazing team ”

Councillor Visit “ It was an absolute pleasure to visit the Old School House yesterday afternoon Tuesday 20th June 23. On arrival I was welcomed by the Manager Lesley Mansfield who outlined the aims aspirations and ambitions for the Old School House and its residents coupled with some of the difficulties that they face going forward. I was given a guided tour of the premises to see for my self how the home is ran and managed on a daily basis. I was delighted to see how clean and tidy it was . The residents rooms were beautifully decorated bright and fresh and superbly set out. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The residents were happy and relaxed watching TV and enjoying arts and crafts. The recreational areas were spacious and really well presented creating a lovely ambiance for the residents to enjoy. The kitchen facilities were bright and spotlessly clean and the food being cooked smelt amazing. I was also shown the patio area complete with its seating area and the amazing café Royal for residents to enjoy. In conclusion I was amazed at how we'll managed it was, the facilities and care taken by the warm friendly and caring staff were outstanding with every effort focused on creating a warm safe enjoyable fun atmosphere for all the residents to enjoy. Definitely a 5 star rating from me. ”

Excellent Care “ I had to visit a Patient at The Old School House last week and was so impressed with the surroundings and the level of Care the residents receive. Staff were so efficient and went above and beyond in finding the information I required to carry out my visit. Its very clear that the staff care so much about all of their residents and what a lovely environment they have created. 5 Stars all round ”
