Surjit Rai
I have held the business interests for the last 30 years and have been involved in all aspects of our Health and Social Care Organisational Development, starting in 1989 as a singular nursing home in East Leake.
I am proud of our company achievements, in growing and diversification into several specialisms alongside the backbone of Nursing and Residential provision.
With an employee group of over 1300 we heavily invest in local workforce development.
Jasmine Stanhope
I began my journey with Rushcliffe Care Group as a Bank Care Assistant in 2000, I went on to study Mental Health Nursing at De Montfort University, qualifying as an RMN in 2006. I have been well supported throughout my career, gaining invaluable experiences, knowledge and qualifications along the way. I strongly believe in our core values of providing reputable care, and robust communication, ensuring that people are treated with respect and compassion at all times, by a team that demonstrates real commitment. I feel extremely privileged to work with some truly amazing people, and believe that our staff are our best assets.
Simon Newton
I have worked for Rushcliffe Care for almost 15 years, beginning as a Kitchen Assistant at Epinal Way Care Centre. I have been able to work through roles and progress my career with Rushcliffe. I am the lead for Marketing and Recruitment for the company as we look to grow and develop the company.
Julie Warrington
I Joined the Rushcliffe team in 1996. Within My role I have overall responsibility for all catering and ‘hotel’ services relating to the 19 sites within the organisation.
I love to see the development of people and one of my proudest achievements is achieving all 5 star food hygiene ratings across the company, having worked here for over 24 years and shaping the delivery of these services it’s something I feel ownership of and I’m so proud we have been able to achieve the highest possible rating
Simon Bolton
I have worked within IT for over 15 years, my career began with Rushcliffe Care in 2011. I joined the company at a very exciting time with the new development of High Grange School, My role is to oversee and implement all the IT systems within the group. What I love about working for Rushcliffe is the Team I work alongside and the technology opportunities within our sectors.
Rachel Hopkins
I started working in mental health in the 80s as a nursing support worker, and soon became passionate about recovery and inclusion, I trained as a social worker in 1995 at De Montfort university. I spent 24 years working at in Community mental health services, but in 2017 I moved to Rushcliffe Care to be a senior social worker, and in 2020 I became the safeguarding lead for the company. My mission is to use all my experience to train and support staff to prevent safeguarding section 42 referrals, the staff at Rushcliffe are as passionate as myself , always keeping the “cared for person” in the centre of everything we do.
Tracy McMahon
I have worked in the care sector for 34 years primarily in dementia and nursing care and I am proud to fly the Rushcliffe Care flag working with what I believe are some of the most consistent and well trained staff in the healthcare sector.
Mike Fazakerley
I have worked as a qualified nurse for 35 years; joining Rushcliffe Care Group in December 2014. I have a variety of experience working in clinical and management roles in both hospital and community setting. My NMC Registration and nursing qualifications has enabled me to across the age range child to adult and I have studied Clinical Nursing at MSc Level. The physical, psychological and clinical well-being of service users is what motivates me; ensuring care is delivered to the exact requirements of Statutory Frameworks; keeping service users at the centre of everything we do.
Dan Coleman
I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector since completing his degree in 1994. Having started my career as a support worker, and as my career developed working within many operational and non-operational management roles. I have worked in the, voluntary, public and private sectors both regionally and nationally. My specialist experience is within learning disabilities and mental health services. Since 2011 I have worked within Governance, Quality and Compliance leadership roles
Karen Siddon
I am a qualified Mental Health nurse and have worked for Rushcliffe Care since 2011. I started as a staff nurse looking after people who have complex needs. My current position of Specialist Beds Placement Manager, and have been supported by the company throughout my years at Rushcliffe Care to progress in my career. I now take referrals for our Specialist Behaviour and Mental Health Units assessing and support the units with behaviour management. I believe that everyone deserves to be cared for the best way and is something we strive to do every day.
Dr Vinod Singh MBBS, BSc, MD, FRCPsych
After qualifying in Medicine from Delhi University, I completed my psychiatric training in London. My higher psychiatric training was at St Barts Medical School and the Royal London Hospitals including Clinical Research Fellowship in the unit of human Psychopharmacology at St Barts.
I was appointed as Consultant Psychiatrist in 1992 in Birmingham, with a brief of setting up community mental health services in inner city Birmingham. I was involved in the development of Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Services in the area. The functional model of community mental health services that I helped develop and implement in Birmingham, in the mid 1990s, subsequently formed the basis of some essential components of the National Service Framework and Plan for mental health in England.
In addition, I was a Clinical Tutor (1996-2001) and the Director of the Clinical Trials Unit (1997-2004). I also held responsibility as a Program Lead and Clinical Director for Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Services across Birmingham. I joined Ruschliffe in October 2016
