Out and About

We love being able to access the community again and get out and about at every oppertunity. Here is one of our residents meeting Henry the llama at the community centre.

Out Door Keep Fit

Everyone loves the keep fit sessions at Highfield, we take advantage of the good weather and do it outside when we can, we don’t just focus on the bend, stretches and cardio but also hand to eye coordination and working as a team in ball work.

Spar in a Jar

The residents choose a member of staff from both the Hall and the Court each month who they feel deserves a little bit of pampering as a thank you for all they do on a day to day basis. Here is one of our winners from August recieving his spar in a jar! Well done Mark!

Country and Western Day

On Thursday 14th, loads of us at Highfield enjoyed a Country and Western afternoon. Starting with an excellent western meal served outdoors by the kitchen, Burgers, Hotdags, Cowboy Pie, Chilli and all the trimmings. We followed this with a line dancing session put on by one of the staffs mum and friend. To finish we played some daft western games involving hobby horses and loads of laughing . Everyone had a Brilliant day.

Lark in the Park

Staff and residents from Highfield held a stall at oneof the Uttoxeter Lions premier events of the year ;Lark In The Park’ a massive free fun day for the people of Uttoxeter and a good publicity and fundraising event for everyone at Highfield . The residents had worked hard to produce, and present a wide range of their craftwork done in the Hub at Highfield and put on a fantastic display on the stall. Those that were able to attend had a fantastic day within the local community and represented Highfield fantastically
